Move With Sessions!

Reception were excited to take part in their first day with Laura and Sam from Manchester United as part of the 'Move With' sessions. For the next 10 weeks the children will be playing games and taking part in different activities to improve their physical literacy. They will work on their balance, coordination and strength as well as having lots of fun!

Netball Trip!

The Ladybarn netball team are having a very busy week! On Monday evening, following their friendly match with Green End, the team and their coaches took a coach to the MEN arena to watch the local team Manchester Thunder take on rivals Yorkshire Jets. It was a really exciting game and a great opportunity for our young sports people to see one of the top eight netball teams in the country in action. It was a fast and furious game and we watched the local side storm to a 67-43 victory. Hopefully the Ladybarn team have got some good tips as they are inaction on Wednesday in the second leg of their competitive event at St Bede's. Good luck Ladybarn Lions!!

The children said...
